Other facilities include two shady pavilions, deck furniture and showers. On Thursdays and Sundays the outdoor pools can be rented for private parties and family gatherings. This is an ideal option for you to have fun in your own exclusive pool. There are always lifeguards on patrol. If you wish to rent a pool, you must book 72 hours in advance.
No visit to Arlington is complete without catching Johnnie Hall’s Country Music Revue. This weekly variety show is held in the Arlington Music Hall. It all began in 1974 when songwriter, singer and musician, Johnnie High, bought an old cinema and transformed it into Arlington Music Hall which can seat 1200 people.
Since 1974, every Saturday night performance has been a sell-out. These fabulous Country and Western nights provide entertainment for 9 to 90 year-olds. Among the regular performers are eight singers, back-up singers and a brilliant band of accomplished musicians. At least 25 new performers take to the stage every month. Country music fans from all over the world come to these shows.
Tenpin bowling, one of America’s most popular sports, has a fascinating history spanning more than 5,000 years. This is all encompassed at the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame.
