Well, if the summer days are not sizzling enough in Dallas, there is only one thing that is certain to make them warmer – the cities beloved Cowboys!!!

Over and above challenging their divisional opponents – the Washington Redskins, Philadelphia, and the NY “football” Giants – the Cowboys have improved the amount of competition when they host their Thanksgiving Day game, going head-to-head with the defending Super Bowl champ, the N.O. Saints.

Toss in an early-December road trip to Indianapolis and a battle with the Titans and you’ve got yourself a circumstance designed to call on you to play at a level much higher than the opposition – and to accomplish this on a continual basis.

In addition, the Cowboys were extended an early bye, in Week 4 before having to deal with a lengthy period which will put them up versus the Vikings, the squad that eliminated them from the playoffs last year (in a demoralizing manner at that), the Jags and the Green Bay Packers.
